Bandaz en Red es un festival orientado a brindar a los artistas independientes de todo el país escenarios propicios para mostrar sus propuestas, generar nuevos públicos y promover el intercambio entre músicos nacionales y de la región.
Este proyecto tiene como misión la difusión del trabajo creativo de agrupaciones independientes de música nacional, promoviendo la participación cultural y el talento de intérpretes de todo el país. También intenta crear lazos con los países de la región para el intercambio de propuestas y apertura de nuevos circuitos y nuevas oportunidades para los artistas locales.
Así mismo se busca contribuir a la profesionalización de los protagonistas, acercándoles instancias formativas de actualización en temas artísticos y de gestión en los días de desarrollo del festival, así como a través del intercambio entre pares.
El espíritu de Bandaz en Red continúa enfocado en proponer a las bandas que se suman a través de cada convocatoria, a reflexionar sobre las ventajas de un sistema asociativo como alternativa para la creación de una plataforma de trabajo que genere nuevas oportunidades para el crecimiento de las generaciones venideras del rock y la música popular uruguaya dentro y fuera de fronteras.
Bandaz en Red
Bandaz en Red (Network Bandz) is a festival aimed at providing the independent artists from all the country with appropriate scenarios for them to show their proposals, generate new public and promote the exchange between national and regional musicians.
This project has as a mission the spread of the creative work of independent national music groups, promoting the cultural participation and the talent of performers from all over the country. It also tries to create ties with the countries of the region for the exchange of proposals and the opening of new circuits and new opportunities for the local artists.
Likewise, it is sought to contribute to the professionalization of the protagonists, supplying them with formative instances of actualization in artistic themes, and of management in the days of the festival’s development, as well as through the exchange between peers.
The spirit of Bandaz en Red continue to be focused in proposing to the bands that join during each call, to reflex over the advantages of an associative system as an alternative for the creation of a work platform that generates new opportunities for the growth of the coming generations of rock and popular uruguayan music, within and without borders.
